The Institution of Environmental Sciences is pleased to announce that the 2014 John Rose Award is open to applications from postgraduate research students.
The mission of the award is to ensure an exceptional piece of post-graduate research fulfils its potential by publicising it beyond the scientific community. The winner will receive a £1000 grant for media training and dissemination of their project, allowing them to maximise their research’s impact.
The award provides the winner with valuable skills for a career in environmental science, and supports them in engaging the public on the subject of their postgraduate research.
Applicants can either be current students or those who have graduated in the past 12 months.
