Over 1700 people came through the venue yesterday, and it feels like we may have talked to most of them! We definitely had copious and fantastic interactions with children and adults of all ages, with over 300 getting their grip strength measured, and over 80 engaging with the Health Research Bus.

I’ll be gathering anecdotal stories from our volunteers moving forward to inform future events.

If you want to see more, you can check out the School’s Twitter feed on the day (via the School webpage), check out the Flickr photos taken by Ideas Lab (https://www.flickr.com/photos/61648734@N06/sets/72157648628214249/), go to our pre-event podcast (http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/news/podcasts/index.aspx), and google ‘obesity wars youtube videos’ to get access to some youtube clips we did using Keek (30 sec clips).

Thanks to the phenomenal team of staff and PGRs who made all of this possible, and thanks to Sam and Lucy from IdeasLab!

Best wishes,

Janice Thompson
