I’m a Scientist, Get me out of here – This March

From the 9th to the 20th March, ‘I’m a scientist, get me out of here’ will host a free online competition where school students meet and interact with scientists. It’s an X Factor-style competition between scientists, where the students are the judges.

Students challenge the scientists over fast-paced online text-based live CHATs. They ASK the scientists anything they want, and VOTE for their favourite scientist to win a prize of £500 to communicate their work with the public. There will be 10 themed zones and four general science zones; covering everything from Genes to Particle Physics, and from Green Chemistry to Light.  You can find the full list of zones here imascientist.org.uk/2014/12/march-2015-zones

Application form: http://imascientist.org.uk/scientist-apply

The deadline is 25th of January 2015
