Cafe Scientifique is back next week following a break over Christmas. Join Dr Beryl Oppenheim next Tuesday 3rd of February, to learn about how she and her team are using new technologies to find out how hospital patients acquire germs and how to stop them.Café Scientifique is a program of informal science talks with time for Q&A and debate built in. With no prior knowledge needed, the events are a chance to socialise, relax and enjoy learning about contemporary research. These are events are targeted at adults and are not suitable for under 16’s. No booking is required but space is limited, arrive for 6.30pm to be sure of a seat.
Birmingham Cafe Scientique takes place the first Tuesday of the month at the Jekyll and Hyde (upstairs Gin Parlour room), 28 Steelhouse Lane, Birmingham, B4 6BJ.
