The Royal Society of Chemistry invites applications for its outreach fund. Funding aims to encourage and support the development of projects that raise awareness of the place of chemistry in people’s every day lives, and develop the science communication skills of people who are already highly trained in chemistry.
Applicants may include society members and member networks, researchers in academia or industry, museums, community groups, non-profit organisations, arts groups and libraries. All activity must take place within the UK or Republic of Ireland. The fund does not support outreach activity that take place outside the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Funds can be requested in the following categories:
•small grants worth up to £2,000 each;
•medium grants worth between £2,000 and £10,000 each;
•large grants worth between £10,000 and £50,000 each.
