The Royal Society of Biology invites nominations for its science communication awards. These recognise biosciences researchers who make an outstanding and consistent contribution to communicating science to the public. There are two award categories:
•new researcher prize, worth £750 – for biosciences researchers currently reading for a master’s or PhD degree, or who are in their first year of a postdoctoral position;
•established researcher prize, worth £1,500 – for biosciences researchers who are beyond the first stages of their research career.
The competition is open to biosciences researchers from UK universities and institutes.
