WORKSHOP / Revealing Research: An Introduction to Public Engagement

Are you a PhD or early career researcher? Are you interested in getting involved with public engagement however are unsure or lack confidence in how to communicate your research effectively? If so then come along to an introductory workshop to public engagement delivered by UoB researchers for UoB researchers.

The workshop is a 3 hour interactive workshop designed to build upon and develop some of the essential skills necessary to deliver research effectively to the public.

It is open to postgraduate and early career researchers from all colleges and will be based at N334 in the Gispert Kapp building on Wednesday 24th February 2016 from 1-4pm.

**DUE TO DEMAND we have added a second workshop on March 4th , 2016 at 9.30am-12.30pm in Civil and Mechanical Engineering – Lecture Room G42.**

NOTE: We have a couple of last minute drop outs so we have approx 2 spaces left for each workshop, get in touch asap if interested.

If you are interested in attending or being put on a reserve list for a future event please email c.d.t.gillett@bham.ac.uk with ‘Revealing Research Workshop’ in the title of your email by February 19th. Please also include your name, position (e.g. 2nd Year PhD, Postdoc), school/department and your college.

The workshop has a limited number of spaces so registration is essential and will be dealt on a first-come basis. If you wish to be put on a reserve list for future workshops get in touch.
