Public Engagement with Research Day (PER Day) is our annual engagement conference hosted here at the University of Birmingham. PER Day combines plenaries, workshops, training, networking and more, serving as an in-depth day dedicated to all things public engagement.

Each year we have a different theme which is shaped by the feedback we receive from our research community at previous events and the ongoing evaluation we carry out on all our activities.

Our most recent meeting, PER Day 2019, took place on Friday April 5th and was our biggest event to date. You can find further programme information and resources linked the 2019 event and previous PER Days below.

PER DAY 2019

PER Day, our thought-provoking and inspiring annual conference of Public Engagement with Research (PER), now in it’s 5th year took place on 5th April 2019. The event provided a fantastic opportunity to reflect on half a decade of amazing activity and for attendees to generate new contacts, spark ideas and hone their skills.
